Why should you attend?
The purpose of the Colloquium arises from the need for Posthumanism to become a Philosophy of Life capable of facing the challenges of the XXI century on an individual, social, and planetary level.

This Colloquium will be experiential, offering not only academic debates and conferences but also activities held in local places of interest: its approach will be both global and local.

Modalities

Sessions will be held in two formats:
90-minute panel sessions with five participants and a moderator.
  • These panels will address both the issues presented in the CFP and other issues, shared with participants in advance.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to give a brief presentation on their paper's topic (5 minutes each); they will then be part of the moderated debate (approximately 1 hour).
  • All participants will have the same time to respond to questions during the moderated debate.

Workshops, labs, and practical seminars.
  • Participants may propose an activity lasting between 15 and 30 minutes.
  • Please note that in this workshop format, the frontal talk (when necessary) should be very brief (around 5 minutes), and the group activity should follow.
  • Please note that materials must be provided by the workshop organizers.

In your abstract, specify if you wish to participate in a panel (1.) or present a workshop (2.)

Session modalities

Two forms will be worked on:
  • Panel sessions of four or five people and one person serving as moderator. The questions posed in the CFP will be addressed.
  • Labs and practical seminars. A working group that reflects and generates an alternative proposal to what would be done in an exhibition.
